Breakage Warranty
Enjoy Your Ceramics with Peace of Mind
We offer a Damage Protection Plan that covers any chips or breakage of your Aritayaki cups. By registering your product within six months of purchase, you become eligible for a free replacement should any damage occur.
This offer is valid for products purchased on or after June 1st, 2022.
Damaged or Chipped Ceramics
It’s always disappointing to see a cherished piece break, and repair is often the first thought. However, we do not offer repair services nor recommend specific repair shops.
Instead, we provide a Breakage Warranty valid for three years from the date of purchase. Be sure to register your Aritayaki cups on our website to qualify for a complimentary replacement in case of damage.
Usage Marks and Scratches
With regular use, it’s natural for ceramics to develop small marks or scratches from cutlery. These metal marks can often be minimized using French chalk, as long as application instructions are carefully followed.
Through extensive testing, we've found that some utensils leave more noticeable marks than others, and a few may be difficult to remove. For more persistent marks, cleaning agents designed for ceramic glass cooktops may be effective.
Please note that such scratches are typically signs of normal use and are generally irreversible.
Variations in Shape
Aritayaki ceramics are fired at extremely high temperatures, which naturally causes shrinkage of about 14%. Thanks to the special composition of our clay, this shrinkage occurs evenly, but as each piece is handmade, slight variations in shape may occur.
We maintain strict quality control standards to ensure that all products meet our acceptable range of variation.
